Middle East Opening

20 03 2009

Short Term Mission Opportunity – Middle East

There are some ministry opportunities we have available in the Middle East. We are looking for a few good men that are available for 2-3 months in order to spread the gospel in an Islamic country. This ministry is primarily building relationships with Arabs over tea with the hope of seeing them give their lives to tea-and-datesJesus. There are also opportunities to help with church administration and other ministries. The cost is reasonable, the work is spiritual, and the rewards are eternal.

Please contact missions@calvarykendall.com for more information.

Joshua Project: Purpose and Mission

Joshua Project is a research initiative seeking to highlight the ethnic people groups of the world with the least followers of Christ. Accurate, regularly updated ethnic people group information is critical for understanding and completing the Great Commission. While no one knows the date or time of His return, we do know that this gospel of the kingdom must be preached to all the nations first. Revelation 5:9 and 7:9-10 show that there will be some from every tribe, tongue, nation and people before the Throne.

2009 CCK Missions Trips

26 02 2009

Calvary Chapel Kendall is excited to have the opportunity to serve our missionaries by sending them teams. In the past, we’ve sent teams to Mississippi, Peru, Costa Rica, Asia, and the Middle East. Our goal is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do, we hope to portray God’s love through our actions and our words. This year we have been invited to serve in El Salvador and Brazil. It’s an honor to be ambassadors for Christ in other parts of the world, a responsibility we take very seriously.

Please be aware that these trips are not tours nor vacations.

El Salvador July 4-11

In July we have the opportunity of joining Potter’s Field Ministries at their orphanage in San Martin, El Salvador. The Lord has called us to serve orphans and we plan to do just that. We will be making ourselves available to Potter’s Field for whatever need they have including teaching kids about the Lord and doing light construction work on the orphanage grounds.

Cost: $1,250 per person

Registration is required by April 20

Brazil August 7-17

Pastor Alexandre Silva Vaz from Calvary Chapel Rio de Janeiro has invited Calvary Kendall to Rio. We will be teaming up together in order to further impact the community in Rio. We’re going to take over CC Rio’s church services and bless the church body with worship and teaching. We will also team up with Pastor Alexandre to conduct outreaches throughout the city.

Cost: $2,000 per person.

Registration is required by April 20

Come by CCK to register or email us at missions@calvarykendall.com for more information.
