CCBC Update – John Bonner – Lima, Peru

It has been a busy summer, full of fruitful outreach for us!  
 
Many teams have visited to work in evangelism in the areas we have planted churches. 
 
The six-week Youth Summer of Missions program went well with some exceptional high school age kids, who worked hard and traveled throughout the country.
 
This past week, CCBC-Peru hosted an important seminar with Bill Holdridge of Intensive Care Ministries to prepare 27 pastors from various South American countries to teach the Inductive Bible Study Method.

Update and Uplift – Rozeks, UK

Greetings to all of our loved ones!!!!

UPDATE…

Thank you for all of you who stop, drop and roll a prayer for us to the throne of Grace.  They are never forgotten by God and always appreciated by us.  Prayer brings heaven and earth together in a kiss that leaves people affectionately affected forever.

The outreach we did two weekends ago resulted about 40 people receiving a Bible, many receiving one for the very first time and as well as many more receiving free water bottles.  Some people are from parts of the world where they cannot get a copy of the Bible. Praise God that they have one now!!! I was asked to share the Gospel openly on the microphone they had set up and I was able to sense the empowering of the Holy Spirit to speak the words that He would have me to share in that kind of public setting.  Several people came up to talk to me when I was done sharing, some believers who were touched and others who wanted a Bible.
One young man named Nick, had spent the last six years just addicted to drugs and alcohol…and we spend over an hour talking and sharing with him…which resulted in him praying to receive Christ as his Lord!

Hello dear loved ones in the faith!

UPLIFT:  

The eyes of the Lord are always searching to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him (2 Chron. 16:9).  David, a man after God’s own heart wrote about this as well when he said that “the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly (Psalm 4:3).  Is becoming a growing passion to be one of those vessels that God sets His sight on?  Can God fix His eyes on us and see someone who ready and willing to do His will?  These have been questions that I have given much thought toward lately. Everything we are and everything we do needs to be measured by the heart of God and not by the heart of man.  In fact, it is not the response of man that is the priority in the ministry but rather our response to God that really matters.  We must make sure that we are giving our best to God and be satisfied when His gain is our loss.
