Sunday morning we found ourselves at a little Calvary Chapel house church in the middle of Quepos. Jose Jr. led us in worship in English and in Spanish. Dave shared with us for the English service and Amos for the Spanish service. The Lord definitely used them to speak to the people here. It’s great to see both Costa Rican’s and Americans at this little house church. Afterwards we headed over to Manuel Antonio beach to celebrate Kim’s eldest son’s birthday, his name is Jeremiah and he’s now 16. After the beach we headed back to Kim’s house to hear some English worship and a Bible study on CD. On Monday morning we met up with Kim, he showed us around Quepos a little more, he took us to the drug rehab center that he runs, then we went back to work on the park. Of course we’re not going to find all the hardware that we need to finish the park but that’s why the Lord told us to be flexible. We improvised with what we had and finally got it done and painted. Pray for us as we wrap up the trip, take a free day on Tuesday and head back home on Wednesday.
