- Please pray that God would strengthen, encourage and keep our missionaries safe. That in their quiet times they would be built up and encouraged deep in their spirits.
Sudan:
- Pray for the Love Covers outreach in July. Pray for God to speak to the VBS teachers with what He would have them share. And that even now, He would begin to prepare each heart for the messages that will be shared, that lives would be changed. Please pray against any attacks of the enemy to interfere with this outreach of love.
- Please continue to pray for Christine to be healed of typhoid. Pray God would encourage her and give her family hope.
- Also, please continue to pray for the families of the students poisoned at the Nimule school.
- Please pray for street children, orphans and widows in the Sudan; for their care and provision.
- Please, pray for Gabriel a worker in the ministry now sick with typhoid fever. Pray that he may recover and resume his work.
Kitgum:
- Please pray for Chuck’s back to be completely healed; that his work in Kitgum would not be hindered. Please pray for him as he teaches at the church, to be used mightily by the Lord. Also, please continue to pray for his family here in the States.
- Most of the children in KIOCC are very sick with diarrhea and cough. Please pray for healing.
- Pray for Lois as she returns from furlough to the Tender Trust orphanage. She is having serious heart trouble and will need surgery. Pray God’s hand to be with her for healing, strength, comfort and encouragement. That everything that concerns her would be taken care of.
- Pray for Vicky and Leno as they travel between Nimule and Kitgum. Pray for safe journeys, that they will be encouraged by what God is doing in Kitgum, and that they would be refreshed by the team.
Entebbe:
- Please continue to pray for the ministries and needs of CC Entebbe, for John and his family at CC Boma and for Bartholomew at CC Kajansi.
- Also please continue to pray for the Linquists as they plan for furlough.
Kenya:
- Pray for Tom and Cheryl Rees as they return this week to Kenya in preparation for their calling to Rwanda. Pray that God would work out every detail: government affairs, housing, connections, and every provision and need.
- Continue to pray for the Schwartz family during their vision tour in Nairobi.
China:
- Thank you for your continued prayers for Paul; that the Lord would be with him through this very long physical trial.
- Praise God for the interns who touch so many lives. Please pray for them as they study and serve.
Russia:
- Continue to pray for the children’s summer camps. That God would prepare and anoint the teachers with His Holy Spirit power and that many children will come to know Him.
Close to our hearts:
- Please continue to pray for Jeff, in need of a kidney. For questions call (866) 672-5333.
- Pray for Stacey and her new faith in Jesus; that she would be surrounded by a great group of godly friends.
- Pray for Halley to be encouraged in the Lord; that she would be reminded that she is precious in His sight.
- Pray for Emily that the Lord would meet her in the midst of turmoil.
- Please pray for April and her family as they mourn the loss of her father.
The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective! Praise Him for these answers to your prayers:
- Praise the Lord for His awesome protection. Michael was riding his bike and was hit by another biker who was drunk. Michael and his passenger were not hurt.
- Praise God that Hellen is doing well and is coming back home to Sudan this week. Please continue to pray for her healing and health.
- God is using the church services at the Food for the Hungry compound in Kitgum; many are surrendering their lives to Jesus. Pray for their continued discipleship and hunger for more. Praise God that the Rabuna Fi party Friday, hosted by Rachel Cherry, was a huge success. They had a wonderful time of prayer and fellowship. Janet, a non-believer was touched by the event. Pray that Jesus would become real to her.
Thank you for your prayers for Dani. She was able to eat and hold down the food for the first time yesterday!
