So Thankful!
As I celebrated Thanksgiving this year, I thanked God for His many blessings—you are a huge part of those blessings! Thank you for enabling this ministry. I am grateful to be in Kenya at Tenwek Hospital serving alongside other missionaries who have become my extended family! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast in the atrium of the new surgery building followed by a praise service and then a movie on the big screen of the auditorium! As you have the colors of fall, we have beautiful lavendars, pinks, and oranges to remind us that the year is ending. The lavender “snow” from the Jacaranda tree is beautiful!

What about Sudan?
My original plan was to serve two months a year at Lui hospital in Sudan with Samaritan’s Purse. A few months ago, Samaritan’s Purse decided to turn the ongoing management of Lui Hospital to the Sudanese Ministry of Health and SP will not be providing medical personnel. Although this door has closed for now, I continue to have a heart for Sudan and there are other potential opportunities for service in the future.
Prayer Requests
· Please pray for Kenya and the upcoming presidential elections. We pray for a peaceful time before, during, and after elections.
· I appreciate your continued prayers. I confess to some times of discouragement in the previous weeks and months. As I have walked through some difficult times, God has reminded me of John 15:16:“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit–fruit that will last. “ I praise God for His presence and for His word.
· Please pray for my family.
· My prayer is for you and your family during this holiday season. You are a blessing to me!
